Description
This small geyser is located on the left shore of the Geysernaya River between the Bolshoy and Maly Geysers. The first description of this new geyser was made in 2015 by Anna Zavadskaya (Kronotsky Nature Reserve),  and Alexander and Marina Belousov (Institute of Volcanology and Seismology). At first, it was called "the geyser around the corner" (Leonov, 2017). A little later, the Belousovs suggested calling it Andrey in honor of Andrey Leonov (author of of Catalog of the Geysers of the Kronotsky Nature Reserve, who worked a lot in the Valley of Geysers) (Belousov and Belousova, 2017). In 2015–2016, the channel of this geyser was in the development stage, and its fountaining period was 10–15 minutes. In following years, the period became 5–7 minutes. It erupts with an inclined jet at a distance more than 2 m for 1-3 minutes. One year later (at 2016) close to Andrey a new large geyser was appeared close to Andrey(it was named Vladimir – after V.Leonov). It turned out that their channels are connected to each other (Belousov and Belousova, 2020). The eruption of Vladimir always begins at the end of Andrey eruption of and  after the end of Vladimir eruption there is a pause in the activity of Andrey for about 30 minutes. Then the activity of Andrey resumes in the normal mode and during this time 4-6 outpourings and eruptions of Andrey occur before the next eruption of Vladimir.
