Description
The geyser Liliput was located on the right bank of the Pravaya (Right) Pauzhetka River, 100 m from the shore. Its channel, about 1 m in diameter and 0.5 m deep, was located among boulder-pebble alluvial deposits. The geyser regime was quite stable, and no seasonal changes were observed (Sugrobova, 1971), but the duration of the cycle decreased over time: if at 1935 the geyser period was 16-17 min (Piip, 1947), then at 1951 it became 4-5 min (Naboko, 1954), and in 1958-1962 - 2-3 min (Averyev, Sugrobova, 1965). With the beginning of large-scale drilling and the launch of a geothermal power plant in ~1985, the geyser stopped working.
