Geyser Maly (Small) was located on the left bank of the Geysernaya River, 40 m downstream from Geyser Bolshoiy (Big). It was first described during the 2nd expedition of T.I. Ustinova and A.P. Krupenin to the Geysernaya River in July-August 1941 (Ustinova, 1946). At the same time, these two geysers were given the names "Bolshoy" and "Maly", which reflect the differences in the size of the gryphons: the gryphon of the Bolshoy is 3.5x1.5 m, and of the Maly 2x1 m, although in terms of the height of the fountaining, Maly is practically the same as Bolshoy, and in terms of average daily water discharge the geyser Maly surpassed not only the Bolshoy, but also the Velikan. The volume of water erupted by Velikan was 20 cubic meters, Bolshoy - 16 cubic meters, Maly - 8 cubic meters (Sugrobov et al., 2009), but Velikan erupted on average 4 times a day, Bolshoy -15 times, and Maly - 40 times.
