A dwarf geyser Pesherny (Cave) was located 70 m downstream of Geysernaya river from geyser Maly. It erupted from 2 holes, on the left above and on the right below of big boulder, and the gryphon was located behind (or under) this stone. This geyser was described under the name Split Rock in the report by Bryan (1991), and under the name Pesherny in the book by Sugrobov et al. (2009). Description by Bryan (1991): “The eruption begins with a strong outpouring from the lower gryphon: first steam is ejected, then water. Water fountains up to 60 cm high. The duration of the eruptions is 2 minutes.” Description by Sugrobov (2009): “During the eruption stage, water jets are ejected from under the stones in different directions for 35-90 seconds. The break lasts about 2 minutes, the outpouring of water - 1 minute." In 2007, the location of the Peshcherny geyser was flooded, and in 2014 it was covered with a thick layer of mudflow deposits.
