Pink Cone is a large geyser on the left bank of the Geysernaya River, upstream from the Horizontal Geyser. Its gray-pink geyserite cone about 8 m high, "leaning" against a steep slope. It was first described by S.I. Naboko in 1951 and called Upper Sloted (Naboko, 1954). The next description of this geyser, but under the name Upper Dwarf, was made in 1960 (Raik, 1963). In the book by V.I. Semenov (1973) it was called Pink Cone for the first time. Description of the geyser activity in 1960: “During the fountaining, the water flies to a height of 2-3 m, the eruption lasts 35 seconds, the steaming after the eruption lasts 45 seconds. We observed 41 cycles” (Raik, 1963). The activity of the Pink Cone was quite stable during the entire observation period: in 1951-2014, the period was 14-15 minutes. After the mudflow of 2014, its duration increased to 18-20 minutes.
