A dwarf geyser Ustiny was located 20 meters downstream from the Pink Cone geyser. Its geyserite shield diverged from the griffin as a wide gray "bell" and was clearly visible on the slope. A description of this geyser was made by members of the American expedition to the Valley of Geysers (Bryan et al., 1991). During this expedition, V.A. Nikolaenko named the geyser in honor of T.I. Ustinova, the discoverer of the Valley of Geysers. The Ustiny geyser regime in 1991: "3 eruptions were observed with a period of 18-20 minutes, the eruptions were for 1-2 minutes to a height of 0.5 m" (Bryan, 1991). In 2011, the geyser erupted in bursts up to 0.5 m high with a period of 40–45 minutes (Leonov, 2017). In 2014, it was covered by a mudflow.
