Geyser Verkhny Malek (Upper Baby) is located in the channel of the creek to the right of the Pink Cone geyser. It was first described in 1960 during expedition of Estonian scientists to Geyser Valley. They discovered that the duration of the resting stage of this geyser (2 min) is much shorter than the duration of the eruption stage (5 min) (Raik, 1963). Its subsequent descriptions were made only 50-60 years later: period 10-30 min, eruption duration 0.5-1.5 min, splash height up to 0.5 m.
