The geyser Veer (Fan) was located close to geyser Bolshoy. Its channel was a subvertical crack (5-30 cm wide) in a block of lake deposits (pumice sandstone) located at the base of a vertical wall composed of strongly cemented deposits of an ancient landslide. This geyser appeared after the collapse and mudflow of 2014, when on the place of dammed lake an alluvial plain was formed. The first description, including the name, was made by an employee of the Kronotsky Nature Reserve A. Zavadskaya (2014). It was called Veer because the eruption jet has a wide fan-shaped form. In 2014-2017, its griffin was slightly above the water level in the river, and the geyser operated regularly with a period of 10-15 minutes, demonstrating all phases (outpouring, fountaining, steaming and rest) (Belousov, Belousova, 2020). After a short outpouring (about 10 seconds), water began to gush from two holes at an angle of 45º to a distance up to 3 m for 50-80 seconds. Delays (1-2 minutes) of regularity occurred when the start time of the Veer eruption coincided with the eruption of the Bolshoy geyser, and the Veer channel was flooded by water erupted from the Bolshoy. At 2018, the water level of the Geysernaya River was abnormally high and the geyser channel was constantly flooded with water. At 2021, non-periodic, short (1-2 seconds) and weak (up to 0.5 m high) splashes were occurred. The geyser has not been working since 2022.
