Description
Geyser Zontik (Umbrella) was located on the right bank of the Geysernaya River, on the wall of dwarf geysers opposite Pilgrim Rock. It was the largest of all dwarf geysers and was named for the resemblance of the cave in which it was located to an umbrella. This geyser had regular eruptions with an interval of 12–15 seconds, a duration of 3–5 seconds, and a height of 20–30 cm (Bryan, 1991). It was flooded in 2007 and covered with a pebble in 2014.
