| (11) Volcanic Activity Summary: | Activity of the volcano continues. Two ash cloud continues to drift to the north-east and to the south-west ftom Sheveluch volcano. A front of ash plume 1 is about 640 km to the east-north-east (azimuth 65 degrees) from the volcano. A front of ash plume 2 is about 294 km to the south-west (azimuth 227 degrees) from the volcano. Explosive-extrusive eruption of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 32,800-49,200 ft (10-15 km) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft. |
