Location: The volcano is situated in the northern, graben-synclinal, sector of the Eastern volcanic zone of Kamchatka 10 km east of Kronotsky lake, 225 km northeast from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
Type: Stratovolcano
Composition: high-aluminium basalts, two-pyroxene andesites
Recent Known Eruption: 1922 - 1923
Голоценовый стратовулкан насажен на игнимбриты, пемзы и туфы риолитового и дацитового состава, выброшенные из кальдеры Узон.
Диаметр 10 км. Пироксеновые андезиты, андезито-базальты и их пирокласты. На южном склоне отложения лав. Вершина конуса образована жерловой андезитовой экструзией диаметром 1500 м и высотой 600 м [1].

Potencial Hazard
Summit eruptions are possible with ash plumes, ash falls, pyroclastic flows, lava flows, and lahars. The southern sector of the volcano is also an area of possible lateral eruptions.
