|The Island-volcano of Raikoke is somewhat elongated in the latitudinal direction, has a size of 2 x 2.5 km and is a strongly truncated cone. Perhaps the modern cone rises directly from the bottom of the Sea of Okhotsk, then the height of the Raikoke volcano is about 2500 m. At the top of the cone there is a large crater with a diameter of about 700 m and a depth of 200 m. The southeastern part of the ridge is slightly higher than the northwest. The walls of the crater are extremely steep, and the characteristic structure of the stratovolcano is visible in the cliffs. The southern slope is covered with pyroclastics, the eastern - with lava flows.
