(11) Volcanic Activity Summary:An ash cloud from eruption occurred on 18:20 UTC May 18 continues to move about 500 km to the west-north-west from the volcano. No ash explosions are observing at the volcano now, but an effusive activity of the volcano remains high, this is accompanied by powerful gas-steam emissions and hot avalanches. KVERT continues to monitor Bezymianny volcano. An effusive activity of the volcano continues. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft.
