Location: The volcano is associated with the Eastern volcanic belt and is located about 13 km south of Kronotsky lake, in 200 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

Recent Known Eruption: ~ 1600
Образован двумя насаженными на разлом андезито-базальтовыми и андезитовыми стратовулканами — Северным (1800 м) и Южным (1856 м). На вершине Южного конуса кратер диаметром 800 м, а на склонах — побочные кратеры. Северный конус имеет сложное строение. На его вершине — кратер-сомма диаметром 1500 м и центральный конус с кратером на вершине диаметром 600 м. В последнем более молодой шлаковый конус с вершинным кратером диаметром 30 м [1].

Potencial Hazard
Possible therminal eruptions and lateral on the volcanic slopes or at the southern part of caldera. Potential hazards are ash plumes, ash falls, pyroclastic and lava flows and lahars.
