Description

The Ziminy Volcanoes massif is formed by fused edifises of Ovalnaya Zimina and Ostraya Zimina stratovolcanoes and a relic of the ancient volcano Gorny Zub. The summit part of the Ovalnaya Zimina stratovolcano is complicated by a 500 m wide cirque filled with a glacier. A collapse caldera 1 km wide is observed in the summit part of the Ostraya Zimina volcano.
