Current State: A moderate explosive eruption of the volcano continues, the Strombolian and gas-steam activity were noted all week. The Vulcanian activity was registered on 29-30 March, ash plumes extended to the northeast and east of the volcano. Satellite data showed a bright thermal anomaly over the summit volcanic crater all week, except 01 April (overcast); ash plumes extended for 455 km to the northeast and east of the volcano on 29-30 March. 
Danger Prognosis for Aviation: A moderate explosive eruption of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 16,400-23,000 ft (5-7 km) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft.
